To become part of our Dynamic and lively Medical Spa environment, your responsibilities will include:
- Current licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) in NJ
- Certification in Aesthetics or relevant specialty in administering injectables (e.g., Botox, fillers).
- Skilled in laser treatments for hair removal, skin rejuvenation, and vascular lesions.
- Knowledge of advanced skincare treatments, including chemical peels and microdermabrasion.
- Ability to perform Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapies for skin rejuvenation and hair restoration which can also be taught.
- Familiarity with medical-grade skincare products and their applications.
- Understanding of facial anatomy and the aging process.
- Strong proficiency in patient assessment and treatment planning.
- Excellent bedside manner and ability to build rapport with clients.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and patient care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Knowledge of infection control practices and sterile technique.
- Experience in managing and documenting patient records accurately.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to educate patients on treatment options, expected outcomes, and aftercare.
- Flexibility in scheduling and willingness to accommodate client needs.
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to aesthetic procedures.
- Dedication to continuous learning and professional development in the field of aesthetics.
- Confidence in handling and addressing patient concerns or complications.
- Adaptability to new technologies and treatment modalities.
- Leadership qualities and experience in mentoring or training junior staff.
- Understanding of financial aspects of aesthetic treatments, including pricing and cost analysis.
- Experience in conducting pre-procedure consultations and obtaining informed consent.
- Proficiency in assessing and treating adverse reactions or complications.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming spa environment.
- Participation in marketing and promotional activities for the medical spa.
- Ability to manage inventory and supplies effectively.
- Compliance with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality policies.
- Understanding of medical spa management practices and business operations.
